Micellar C
Liquid food supplement containing micellar vitamin C.
Vitamin C was first analysed by Albert Szent-Györgyi, who received a Nobel Prize for his discovery. Today, it has become the most important vitamin, and its beneficial effects and indispensability are known and recognised worldwide. It is an essential substance for humans; no matter how small the amount needed, physiological processes cannot function without it. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that is excreted daily and needs to be replenished. It is a catalyst and an essential element for countless internal biochemical systems. Without aiming for completeness: vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, meaning it neutralises the damaging effects of free radicals daily to protect our cells and health. It protects against ionising radiation and helps reduce symptoms of fatigue. Energy-producing processes do not function well in the absence of vitamin C, which causes lethargy, fatigue, and weakness. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, the maintenance of psychological functions, and the proper functioning of the immune system. Without vitamin C, effective collagen formation and skin health cannot be maintained. Vitamin C is also necessary for maintaining bone and teeth health. For our body to function at a basic level, a minimum of 80 mg of vitamin C per day is required. In reality, however, much more vitamin C is needed for people living a modern, fast-paced lifestyle, exposed to stress and environmental damage. Physical work, electromagnetic radiation from phones, radio waves, harmful exhaust gases from traffic, radiation from the sun, and stress all put a strain on our body, which our immune system must fight daily. The normal absorption of vitamin C is limited, as an average person cannot absorb more than 280-300 mg. To maximise absorption and effectiveness, we have encapsulated vitamin C in micelles.
Phosphatidylcholine
Lipids with high water-binding capacity. In chemical terms, lecithin means phosphatidylcholine; in everyday language, it refers to a natural mixture of neutral and polar fats. Lecithin, which contains a lot of phosphatidylcholine, has liver-protective effects, mitigating the severity of liver damage caused by alcohol consumption and poisoning. Phosphatidylcholine enables the transport of choline, which is essential for the synthesis of neurotransmitters and phospholipids. Lecithin has beneficial effects in preventing atherosclerosis, helps the absorption of thiamine into the liver and vitamin A into the intestines, and is involved in maintaining brain function processes. A series of initial experimental results confirm that phosphatidylcholine may have therapeutic value in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. There is scientific literature on its efficacy in cancer therapy. There are currently no known contraindications for the use of phosphatidylcholine. There are currently no data on drug interactions or overdose symptoms.
